My sister, called Marina, last october started a new life in a big city. She is studying Business at EAE Business School attached in the university polytechnic of Barcelona.
In early days she went to the big city with AVE but nowadays she is living in a residence called Melon district where she has a bedroom single and a kitchen shared with ten students from around the world. Where she is living there are a girl from France, a boy from Serbia, etc.
Every weekend she comes back with AVE only for three days, she comes on Friday and Marina returns to Barcelona with train.

PRESENTATION (10%): We used a prezi where we put things that it helped us. In that we put a video about a typical Korean's wedding. Also, we put photos and vocabulary about it. The presentation lastet more and less 15 minuts. Mark: 10%
BODY LANGUAGE & EYE CONTACT(10%): I think that sometimes I watched the audience, but I saw a lot the prezi and also Mieia and Carla. I read some things that I didn't remember, but not a lot. Mark: 8%
STRUCTURE (10%): First we began with a introducction of the weddings, then we started to the more important types of weddings around the world and each of this we explained each of that. Mark: 10% CONTENT (40%): We introduce new ideas to the audience and we explain all detailed and it was clear to understand. Mark: 30% LANGUAGE (20%): There was rich vocabulary, we used sentence linkers and also we used a lot of fillers. Mark: 15% PRONUNCIATION (10%): I knew how to pronounce all the words, but when I was in front of my classmates, I talk very fast and I don't know to pronounce. Once upon a time, there was a football player called, Gerard and a seamstres girl called Maria.
Gerard went in a shop. There he went to find a suit. At that moment he saw a beautiful girl, at the same time he started to feel something for her.
Gerard waited for the girl outside of the shop, and when she closed it, they started to talk.
- Do you want something more? - she said
- Yes, what's your name? - he asked.
- Maria. What you need?
- One moment please, my phone is ringing. - he told her.
When Gerard finished to talk, he saw that Maria was gone.
A few days later, Gerard returned to the shop to take his suit. He ask for her and her workmates told him that she was free that day.
On the same night, they met in a disco and they started to talk and dance. At 4am, they left together outside and in there they saw a lot of paparazzis.

Last Saturday, I played a match of volleyball with my team Sant Pere Pescador Voleyball Club versus CV Figueres B.
When it started, I felt very nervous because I played in a different position in the camp of the match. It was an exciting match. In the first part we won for a little difference of points ( 25-23). After, in the second, we won for more difference (25-14), in the third we lost for 21-25 because we were relaxed as we know that we were wining. Our coach was shouting to us because she knew that we could do it better. At the last part, we finally won (25-26).
It was the best felling of joy, we are very happy to have won our first match.
On June, I had a communion of my little cousin Pol, who is nine years old ( I think so), in Llers. Me and my family except Marina (because she was in Mallorca), we arrived later as always. When we arrived I went to take pictures to my little cousin. When the ceremony finished, we took some photos with us outside the church. Then we went to "Mas Pau", where we had a good lunch in a family day. When the cake came, we gave the present for Pol and he was very happy, because he had a lot of surprises. After that, my cousins went to swim in the pool, they managed very good. At the end, we went to a bar to took something for drink.
The new model finally arrived and a lot of people were somewhat disappointed. It's similar with the iPhone 5 but the main difference is that is in difference colours. The front-facing camera it was change for another better and the screem it's the same to the iPhone 5.

Last 11th of september was the Catalonia's day and all the Catalans did the human chain that this consisted to all of the catalans give their mans to did the chain. We did approximately 400km, from el Pertús to Alcanar (Montsià), all cross Catalonia.
I went with my friends in the 668 section in Figueres. At 17:15 we gave our hands, during the fotograf did the photo. After that, we went to the center of Figueres, where there was a big screen reproducing the meeting in Barcelona and after a Catalan group sang.
It was a great day doing the chain with my friends, and doing a part of the history of Catalonia.

The start of the summer I knew some of my friends called Laura, Francesc and Oriol. A few days, I went to Bournemouth during two weeks, it was genial. When I arrived, I went to worked in the mornings in a summer school in el Far. There I did all the mornings of the August, we did activities for the childs and a little trips, for exemple one day we went to the "Acustiqueta"( this is a typical party in the Summer in Figueres).
In the afternoon, I knew another news friends, called: Carla, Carles, Júlia, Clàudia... All of us went to the swimming pool, in the river, in the beach. We did voleyball, football and basketball matchs.
Also, Joana( one of my friends) and me went every afternoon at six to eight o'clock in a school summer of voleyball in Empuriabrava and in the weekends, we did tournament.
At the nights, we went to the partys in the towns arround our towns.
This was one of my best summers, because I knew a lot of genial people and we are friends. Also I did a lot of sport when we went to the l'Armentera in bicycle and playing volleyball.

Last summer I went to a city in the south of England called Bournemouth. It's considered a town because it doesn't have any cathedral. It has approximately eight kilometers of beach.
My trip started on Sunday 7th of July. I went with my family to Girona's airport. There we met with my best friends and the group that we went to Bournemouth together. We took the plane and we flight to Bournemoth. When we arrived there, we took a bus to went to Cavendish school ( the school where we did classes). After we waited that the families came to took us to his houses. When I arrived in my "house", my host mum showed me the house and my bedroom. In the afternoon, two German girls arrived in the house, that we slept together. The next day, we woke up and we went to the bus stop to took the bus to go to the school.
Usually we did the classes in the mooring, and in the afternoon, we did trips or activities. For example on day in the morning we did classes and in the afternoon we went to the city center to play at the laser quest.
In the Sunday we never did classes and we did a big trip that was London. And the next Sunday we returned home.
In this trip we met new friends, from Catlonia and from Germany, too. Also, we learned English all the time, and we visited new cities.

name is Sílvia Costa. I'am fifteen years old, but in October I am going
to be sixteen. I live in Sant Pere Pescador, a small town in Alt
Empordà.
I'm
studying first of bachillerato social in INS Castelló d'Empuries. I
chose this speciallity because I like the business and the economic
subjects. In the future, I would you like to study Econiomics or "ADE",
but at the moment I don't know what I have to choose.
My
hobbies are listening to music, playing the flute, watching TV and
playing volleyball. I started playing voleyball four years ago in CVSPP
(Sant Pere Pescador volley club). It’s a small club in Sant Pere.
The Costa Concordia was a big crusier that it did the Mediterrani rute.
In Jenuary 2012 the criuser was capsize in the Giglio Island, Italy. It was a desater, there dead a lot of pepole but more than the deads they were survivors.
Last Thuesday, in righting the crusier in front of Italian island. All this starts on Monday, first they made a steel platform under the boat. After an underwater surveillance studies the damaged part of the ship, and the water was bombard of floats to revive the cruise. On Tuesday morning the boat was already sold put.
This operation was a success.
In my point of view, this was a amazing thing that they do. First I thought that it was impossible, because Costa Concordia it's a big cruiser with a big weight. But when I saw on the TV I was surprised a lot.
I don't think that it is finished. I remember when I was a child and when I started first of eso that I don't know what I am doing in this center. I was very nervous and I was very scared for all that it started. And now I don't believe that we are going to graduate for all this years.
In this years I did a lot of friends, classesmats, and I am very happy for these years in general. Also in there I have good moments and but moments, but all of this is great.
This year is the best for the eso because in this all the students are more friends because we know.
Researchers from USA, have designed a WiFI that he can recognize a movements of the humans. And with this apparatus you can have the control of the house with a simpel movements. Researchers did tests in a office and in a house and the results were a succes. This is very secure, because they desarrolled a system of passwords for nobody take the control of the house. And for end WiSee (the WIFI) don't need camaras.
In my opinion i think that this is a big advance of the tecnologia and with this result the experts can do all de things that they want to do.
Take me home tour is the second tour from the band One direction. It starts on 23th of february in 2013. The first concert was in London and it is finishing Tokyo. In 22th of may they came to the "Palau Olímpic de Badalona".
When that day arrived I was very nervous, because I knew that I going to the concert in the afternoon. When the high school finished, Anna and me take the for go to Vilafant, where my uncle wait for us. After, with my uncle we went to collect two friends from my cousin. Then we going to Barcelona for collect my cousin that she was in a excursion. When we were all, we went to the sport center to do the line for enter in the concert. When we arrived there were a lot of the girls that they shouted a lot. When the doors were opened we started to enter and we went to our chairs. We were very nervous, that was very exciting. The concert started at eight p.m. all the people shouted. There was very amazing and thrilling. When te concert finished we returned to our houses very later.
This is one of my favourite part in the concert. The singers danced the Macarena song.
X games barcelona was a mundial event from motorbikes, bikes, rally cars, and skates. Every year this games are do in differents countries in the world. I went there on Sunday 19 of may. In there, we entered in the "Palau st.Jordi" and we went to our chair. Firts, we saw moto x best whip final, that consist in do the move to one side of the motor bike, it was incredible. After we saw the final of step up of motor bike, that they have to jump with a motorbike for over nine meters in a horitzontal position. And the last that I saw was the bmx big air, that consist in jump in a ramp with a bike.
That was a exepcional experience and I want to repeat, because there yo can see incredibles jumps that you didn't saw never.
It was created in may in this year. It's about bands that they sing a cappella in a competition. There are a lot of bands but the film focuses with two bands from the university. One with a girls and the others with a boys.
The film start when the group of the girls are in the final and one of this girls vomit in the stage. Then they lose and all the girls less two leave to the group.
Next month, a girl called Becca that she start the university, his father is a teacher in there. The group of the ladies tell him to join in the group and she accept, the rest of the girls of the band not are the typical ladies from this band, but they are differents. Becca know a boy that they work together and they are very friends. He form part in the band of the boys and he is his rival.
The first competitions the girls lose and the boys win. But then the girls make new songs for the competicion. In the final, there are two parts in the competicion: the first called the semifinal and the second called final. In the semifinal the girls lose they don't pass but one of the group that they pass aren't undergraduate and the girls are semifinalists. In the final the girls are amazing and they win the competition. Then Becca kiss his bestfriend.
Last Friday and Saturday, the students of 4th eso that we had chosen music in the optional subject, we did the musical about Mamma Mia. It's a history about a girl, called Sophie, that she has to marry with a boy called Sky. She invited in her wedding her father, but there are a problem she don't know who is his dad and she invite three possibels fathers. Next month, all the guests arrive in the island. The first girls that they arrive in the hotel are Ali and Lisa (the best friends of Sophie). Then arrive Tania and Rosie (the bests friends and the old girls band of Dona Sheridan, the mum of Sophie). In the afternoon the three "fathers" arrive together in a boat.
When Sophie see the three boys, she hides quickly, because his mum don't know that they are in the island. In the afternoon, Donna discovers and she run away to his bedroom. She arrive and she met with his friends, and she explain the situation with the boys. Sophie tell to Sky whats's happening with his dad. At night, is the party of Sophie, and Tania, Rosie and Donna sing a old song that they sang when they were young. Next morning, Tania is in a beach and Pepper (a young man) that he hook up with Tania. Also, Rosie is fishing with Harry. Next day, is the wedding. That starts very good, but in the middle of the wedding Donna stop and say to Sophie that his father is in the island but she doesn't know who is. The daughter say that she invited him, well she invited three boys. Then Sophie tell to Sky that she don't want to marry, she want to go to travel arround the world with him. After, Sam asks for marry with Donna and she accept. In the end, Sophie and Sky will travel in the world.
Last tuesday, I took the bus in Castelló d'Empúries with my classmates to go to Mallorca. After two hours in the bus we arrived at the Barcelona dock. Then we took a big boat to stay there during eight hours.
After we arrived in Mallorca at six o'clock a.m., we went to the hotel, that was in Ca'n Pastilla. Then we wait for the bedroom and during that time we swam in the pool and visit the neighborhood. At eleven we went to the bedrooms and at 12:30 a.m. we went to have lunch. In the afternoon we went to visit Mallorca city with a guide. After that, we returned to the hotel to have a dinner. We went to a party and then we went to sleep.
The second day we had breakfast and we took a bus to go to the Dragon's Caves. Later on, we went to visit one typical towns in this island. We arrived to the hotel at five o'clock and we went to the pool. At night, some people went to a Karaoke and the others stayed in the hotel.
Next day, we went to a city to take a boat to go to Formentor (typical town). In that town we went to the beach. After, we returned to the hotel. Also we went to do the last shopping trip. At the night all of us, went to the Karaoke.
The last day we returned home, we took the boat at eleven o'clock. And at 22:00 o'clock we arrived in Castelló d'Empúries.
